Link roundup – 5/9

I was in major preparation mode for my first craft show yesterday, so I didn’t have time to post.  But here are a few links that I gathered this week:

One woman’s perspective on having multiple projects and jobs.  As someone who wants to find a creative way (or ways!) to make a living, I appreciate this.

It’s devastating to hear how much death and destruction the earthquake in Nepal caused.  It also damaged and destroyed ancient sacred religious sites, which have been part of people’s lives and rituals for over a thousand years.

 On millenials and mental health.

I’ve seen multiple people link to Emily McDowell’s empathy cards in the past week.  They’re worth reading – I find them poignant, sometimes funny, and they have a ring of truth to them.   I think they’re much more meaningful than a “get well soon.”
